Project in Talywain which included, new walls, copping stones, echo drains and Sahara Indian Sandstone Slabs.
On this project D.R Landscaping and Fencing Contractor were asked if we could create a larger patio area with a retaining wall and drainage.
Once we had spoken to the customer and come up with a few designs and settled on one which they were happy with, the project was scheduled in.
Our first part of the project was to get the mini digger in to be able to help us pull up the existing patio and to start to dig in and clear away the 30 tonnes of muck for the area required for the new retaining wall and the full patio area.
Now we started on the 24-meter double skin retaining wall starting off with the foundations for the wall and then the brick work. We then topped the wall with copping stones to finish it off.
We installed 24 meters of Eco Drains inside the retaining wall so that any water will be able to drain off the patio easily.
Next was to install the 60Sqm of Sahara Indian sandstone slabs which was finished & jointed with a mushroom easyjoint. to complete the patio.
Our customer was over the moon with the finish and so were we.
