Man holes dug out new risers put on and concrete around – Barn Conversion

Man holes dug out new risers put on and concrete around

So we were back to the Barn Conversion for the ninth phase with the Man holes needing to be dug out, to enable them to be raised up.

So we got started on digging around the existing man holes to enable us to have the room to be able to start to extend the risers that were needed to be able to raise the man holes to the level required.

Once the risers had been extended we were then able to create the wooden case to be able to create the concrete structure around the risers to secure them in place.

Once the concrete has been poured and allowed to set we could then remove the wooden case to leave a solid structure in pace to stop the soil getting direct contact with the risers and keeping them in place to be able to place the manhole cover on.

This is another phase of the barn conversion complete and have loved to be a part of this ongoing project.
