Damp course and Ground Floor Install – Barn Conversion

Damp course and Ground Floor Install

On our Eighth phase of the Barn Conversion project D.R Landscaping and Fencing Contractor carried out the Damp course and ground floor install.

This was a continuation from the last phase of the ground floor fill in after the underpinning

We first of all made sure that the sub floor we had filled was ready and then spread out a layer of sand before we started to lay out the damp course membrane, covering the whole of the ground level and making sure that it was flat and ready for the next stage of this part of the project.

Then we installed the insulation layer on top of this before getting ready for the top concrete layer that needed to be poured over. Once we were happy that everything was ready we then poured in the concrete to for the top layer of the ground floor ensuring that this was then level and left to harden.

We can’t wait to be able to show you some finished pictures when the whole Barn Conversion project is complete.
